PMS

Portfolio management,personally tailored.

For investors with ₹50 lakh and above: a professionally managed portfolio of stocks held directly in your own demat account — chosen from leading managers, with guidance at every step.

What is PMS

Your own portfolio,expertly managed.

A SEBI-registered portfolio manager builds and runs a concentrated portfolio for you. Unlike a mutual fund, the shares are held in your name, so you see every holding and every trade.

  • 01

    Discretionary PMS

The portfolio manager takes buy and sell decisions on your behalf, within the agreed strategy. The most common form of PMS.

  • 02

    Non-discretionary PMS

The manager recommends; each decision is executed only after your approval.

  • 03

    Advisory PMS

The manager advises, and you decide and execute the trades yourself.

Questions

Good toknow.

Why is the minimum ₹50 lakh?

SEBI sets ₹50 lakh as the minimum investment for PMS, as these are concentrated strategies meant for investors who can bear higher risk. It can be invested as cash, securities or a combination.

How are PMS fees charged?

Managers charge a fixed fee, a performance-linked fee above a hurdle return, or a mix of both, plus transaction and custody costs. All charges are set out in the Disclosure Document and agreement.

Can I see my holdings?

Yes. The shares sit in a demat account in your name, and you receive regular statements showing every holding, transaction and fee.

Is PMS better than mutual funds?

Not automatically. PMS offers concentration and transparency, while mutual funds offer diversification, lower minimums and simpler taxation. The right choice depends on your situation.

Investments in securities through Portfolio Management Services are subject to market risks, and there is no assurance that the objectives of any strategy will be achieved. Past performance does not indicate future returns. Read the Disclosure Document and client agreement carefully before investing.
